Recently, it was reported that Dubai’s bid to host the 69th session of the World Property Congress has been approved. Thus, in 2018 the metropolis for the first time among Gulf countries will host such event. As expected, the congress is to gather over a thousand of real estate experts from more than 60 countries. The key topic of the event will be a discussion of the future of cities and talks about modern technologies.
The Dubai Business Events (DBE), a division of Dubai Tourism, in close cooperation with the Dubai Real Estate Institute, which is the educational division of the Dubai Land Department (DLD), announced the news of the victory in the competition on June 18, 2016.
It is known that the 68th session of the Congress this year took place in the period of May 21-26 in Panama. The participants successfully discussed issues concerning the development of the segment of affordable housing, international ethics in the property sector, the possibility of the real estate market in the context of globalization and the use of new technology to create “smart” cities.
